An air alert was announced in Kyiv and a number of regions of Ukraine due to the missile threat.

These are Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces warned about the threat of using ballistic weapons from the north. At 13:16 a retreat was announced.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.

As of the end of October, the UN reported that they were able to confirm data on the death of 12,162 civilians in Ukraine and the wounding of 26,919 since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia. The organization emphasized that the real data could be much higher.
