On Tuesday, November 26, there will be one round of blackouts – electricity restriction schedules will be applied from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
This is reported by DTEK.
According to the instructions of “Ukrenergo”, from 13:00, another round of blackouts was added. Therefore, there were corresponding changes in the schedules of blackouts.
In Kyiv, for the first group, disconnections will begin at 1:00 p.m., not at 2:00 p.m. Instead, in Kyiv, Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk for the second group, shutdowns will also begin at 13:00.
On November 25, Ukrenergo reported that the time of application and scope of restrictions will be as follows:
- 07:00 – 10:00 — one queue of shutdowns,
- 14:00 – 21:00 – one round of shutdowns.
“The reason for the temporary introduction of restrictions is damage to energy facilities during a massive missile-drone attack on November 17,” the message says.
Energy experts warned that the time of application and the amount of restrictions may change during the day. The company also urges not to turn on several powerful devices at the same time when the lights appear on schedule.
Earlier, Oblenergo in a number of regions of Ukraine announced the cancellation of hourly electricity outage schedules, which were introduced by NEC Ukrenergo on November 19.
In Kyiv, Kyiv Oblast and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, blackout schedules have been adapted to daily changes in the energy system.
