In Odesa, veterans and family members of the UBD received more than UAH 18 million in grants for the development of their own business

More than 18 million hryvnias have already been received by veterans and family members of combatants in Odesa in the form of grants for the development of their own business. This is part of the process of implementing the country’s Internal Stability Plan. Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, informs about this, reports UNN.

He also clarified that the process of employing veterans continues in Odesa, in particular, during meetings on the “Dialogue of Government and Business” platform.

“Providing veterans with a job or help to start their own business is a priority of our work.

37 veteran businesses started by the Grants for Veterans and Their Families program are already operating in the region. In Odesa, veteran entrepreneurs opened their own coffee shops, cafes, copy centers and other types of business.

More than 2,000 vacancies are available in the database of the employment service.

We are creating effective mechanisms for the employment of veterans and are ready, if necessary, to provide support from business and the authorities at every stage of this process,” he informs.

On Tuesday, November 19, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi presented in the Verkhovna Rada his Plan for Internal Stability of Ukraine, which contains 10 points: Unity, Front, Weapons, Money, Energy, Security, Communities, Human Capital, Cultural Sovereignty, Politics of Heroes.

It is expected that the internal Sustainability Plan will be detailed with the participation of civil society, business, cultural community, media, human rights defenders.
