The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and approved for use the portable simulator “Safe Sky” for the training of anti-aircraft fire groups. The device is integrated into the weapons used by anti-aircraft fighters.

This was reported by the press service of the MOU.

“Using the simulator does not require the consumption of ammunition. The calculations of hunters for enemy air targets can conduct training anywhere,” said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.

As noted, the program gives hints during training. There is also a mode of accepting credits and calculating points at each intermediate stage of training – so the instructor will be able to objectively assess the skills of the student.

As the Ministry of Defense reminded, manufacturers and developers of samples of weapons and military equipment who have questions about the codification process can contact the Main Directorate for Life Cycle Support of Weapons and Military Equipment.
