In particular, assistance to families with children living in a 30-kilometer zone from the contact line in seven regions will continue. They will be provided with 21,000 UAH 800 to prepare for winter.

The program will also continue, within which one-time assistance in the amount of 10,000 UAH 800 will be given to families with children who left the communities of Sumy and Kharkiv regions, where mandatory evacuation has been announced.

In addition, the number of schools in the frontline areas will increase from 350 to 800, which will receive monetary grants from UNICEF for the modernization of food units and preparation for winter.

Iryna Vereshchuk thanked the head of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Delegation, Munir Mamedzade, for the support provided to hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians with children, and called for further deepening of cooperation.
