The Austrian oil and gas company OMV confiscated Russian gas as payment for the arbitration decision, according to which Gazprom had to compensate 230 million euros.
This was reported to the Reuters agency by five sources, “European Truth” writes.
OMV was one of the few buyers of Russian gas in Europe after Gazprom lost almost all of its customers following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
