Great Britain added 30 oil tankers to the sanctions lists against Russia.

This is evidenced by the updated data of the British government regarding sanctions, writes “Interfax-Ukraine”.

Restrictions were imposed on the vessels due to the fact that they were transporting Russian oil or oil products to third countries.

According to the British authorities, most of the tankers that were included in the sanctions lists fly under the Russian flag: these vessels are Anatoly Kolodkin, Antarktika, Belgorod, Bratsk, Georgy Maslov, Kemerovo, Kolomna, Krasnoyarsk, Viktor Bakaev. Another eight ships – Agnes, Cepheus, Emily S, Feng Shou, Ksena, Neomi, Suleyman, Thea – sail under the flag of Panama.

The five tankers now subject to restrictions are registered in Gabon: Ariadne, Atalanta, Attica, Guru (“chemical tanker”), Nanda Devi. Sanctions were also imposed on the ships Mikati (Sierra Leone), Chilli and Python (both Antigua and Barbuda), Daksha (Comoros), Delvina and Kelly Grace (both Barbados), Valour (Guinea), Hs Everett (Liberia).

After the renewal of the sanctions of Great Britain, they apply to more than 80 tankers that transported oil from the Russian Federation.

We will remind:

The US has imposed sanctions on Gazprombank, one of the few major Russian lenders not yet blacklisted, in a bid to limit the Kremlin’s ability to finance its war effort.
