A suspicious package was discovered at the “Vokzalna” metro station in Kyiv, and an explosives team was called in, the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration (KMDA) reported in a telegram.

According to the report, for security reasons, the station was temporarily closed for passengers to enter and exit, trains pass by the “Vokzalna” station without stopping.

In Ukraine, law enforcement officers regularly receive reports of demining of various objects. After receiving such data, evacuation and checking for the presence of dangerous objects is carried out. A knowingly false report about a threat to the safety of citizens, destruction or damage to property is an offense punishable under the Criminal Code.

On October 14, authorities, schools, business centers, hotels, newsrooms (including Radio Liberty), embassies, and other facilities and agencies throughout Ukraine received a letter with a message about the “threat of a terrorist act” and “mining.” Evacuation was carried out.
