“The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine has joined the cohort of Ukrainian universities, enterprises, institutions and organizations that are prohibited from using Telegram for official purposes,” Senenko wrote.
He published the relevant order of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The corresponding decision was adopted on November 18 with the aim of minimizing cyber threats and leakage of official information, the document states.
Since November 11, Taras Shevchenko KNU has banned the use of the Telegram messenger for official purposes.
From January 1, 2025, the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” prohibits the use of the Telegram messenger for official and educational communication.
