“Heat is supplied to 91% of residential buildings, as well as more than 94% of socially important facilities (healthcare, preschool and school education),” the statement said.

According to the Kyiv city and regional state administrations, as of the morning of November 22, 84% of boiler houses out of the total number in the country have already been switched on.

“The connection of heat supply to consumers in 12 regions has now been fully completed,” the statement said.

In other regions, this process continues under the control of local governments.

“At the same time, the situation with the beginning of the heating season in some settlements on the frontline territories remains difficult, in particular, due to the deteriorating security situation and significant destruction of critical infrastructure in the city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk region and in the village of Slobozhanske in Kharkiv region,” the State Energy Supervision Service said in a statement.
