The Defense Forces of Ukraine hit the radar station of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile complex in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on November 24.

“On the night of November 24, units of the missile forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, launched a group attack on the positions of the anti-aircraft missile division of the 1490th anti-aircraft missile regiment of the 6th Army of the Russian Federation on the territory of the Kursk region,” the General Staff informs.

According to the message, “the specified unit of the Russian Armed Forces conducted combat operations in the “land-to-land” mode, that is, hitting land-based stationary targets.” “Civilian objects and peaceful residents of settlements in the front-line regions of Ukraine mostly fall under such shelling by the Russian invaders,” the Ukrainian military points out.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported earlier that on the night of November 24, Russian air defense forces destroyed and intercepted 44 Ukrainian drones over the territory of the country. The military department of the Russian Federation did not report about the missiles, instead, the governor of the Kursk region, Oleksiy Smirnov, wrote about the downing of two missiles.
