Dictator Vladimir Putin on Saturday, November 23, signed a law allowing the write-off of overdue loans up to 10 million rubles (over UAH 4 million) to Russians who will take part in the war against Ukraine.
This was reported by the Russian propaganda agency TASS.
In particular, on November 19, the State Duma adopted the draft law in the second and third readings. It refers to those mobilized, conscripts, soldiers who entered into a contract after December 1, 2024 for a period of more than a year.
The document also clarifies that only overdue loans taken before December 1, 2023 can be written off.

On November 22, the Main Directorate of Intelligence reported that the ground part of the army of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation, which participates in hostilities against the Defense Forces of Ukraine, is about 580,000 people.
On October 4, the publication Vazhnye istorii wrote that Russia plans to recruit about 225,000 people on a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the next three years.

New mobilization in Russia is the main thing
The plans to increase the number of armed forces to 1.5 million servicemen were announced in December 2023 by the then Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Serhiy Shoigu.
On April 3, 2024, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced that Russia is preparing to begin the additional mobilization of 300,000 people by June 1, 2024.
