According to Bloomberg, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto is meeting in Istanbul with the energy ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria and Serbia. During his speech, he called the actions of the United States of America an “attack on the sovereignty” of these countries:

“Hungary is grateful to Turkey, Bulgaria and Serbia for providing a very safe, very reliable and very stable transit. Together we will find a solution to ensure the security of our energy supplies.”

Sanctions against GazprombankThe other day it became known that the United States of America introduced sanctions against one of the largest banks in Russia. The reason was that Moscow used it for the purchase of military equipment and payments to its servicemen and their families.

As you know, European countries that still buy Russian gas pay for supplies through Gazprombank. The introduction of American sanctions may close this opportunity for them.
