The government has approved President Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s initiative for one-time assistance in the amount of 1,000 hryvnias for every Ukrainian who is in the territory of the crane. Money from the state will arrive already this winter.

The initiative is intended not only for adults, but also for children. One of the parents will be able to order a payment to his account for each of his children.
It will be possible to make a payment through the Diya application or Ukrposhta, and spend it on paying for utilities, purchasing medicines, books, medical or educational services, transport, mobile communication and insurance.
In addition, these funds can be donated to the Armed Forces or buy military bonds. Cash cannot be withdrawn from the card.
Payments will be made from budget balances that do not have a military purpose.
In addition, in Diya, you can get military obligations for this amount. Diya added that the details of this option will be announced later.
The Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Social Policy clarifiedthat the program will operate during December 2024 – February 2025. It will be possible to spend the funds of “Winter eSupport” until the end of 2025.
Citizens who do not need support from the state may not issue it, or direct “Winter Support” to the Armed Forces.

Pensioners and people with disabilities of groups 1 and 2 who receive payments through “Ukrposhta” will be able to receive “Winter eSupport” through “Ukrposhta”.
They will also be able to spend money through “Ukrposhta” – to pay for utility services or purchase Ukrainian-made goods.
Funds can be spent both online and offline, but only for the specified categories of expenses.
