According to the public indictment of the prosecutors of the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office, a resident of Sloviansk was sentenced to 10 years in prison for spreading information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under martial law (Part 3 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Prosecutors proved that in November 2022, a man sent text messages, screenshots and geolocations with data on the locations of military equipment, personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as roadblocks to the members of the Russian Federation of Russian Federations via Telegram. The court found the collected evidence and prosecutors’ arguments convincing. At the time of the sentence, the convict was in custody.
