On November 22, at around 10:00 a.m., the Russian invaders hit the village of Krasnotorka of the Kramatorsk urban community in Donetsk region with six rockets with cluster submunitions using six Uragan surface-to-air missiles. Pavlo Dyachenko, head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Donetsk region, commented on the consequences of the enemy attack to ArmiyaInform.
— Today, around 10 o’clock, there was a shelling of the outskirts of the city of Kramatorsk. There is a private sector, housing development, and there are also small private enterprises. According to the preliminary data of explosives technicians, the shelling was carried out from the “Uragan” anti-aircraft missile system, he said.
The occupiers struck a residential building within the settlement with indiscriminate munitions — six rockets with cluster elements containing hundreds of warheads.
In Donetsk, the regional prosecutor’s office was informed that a 41-year-old woman died as a result of shelling, and two men, 34 and 39 years old, received shrapnel wounds.
— Many private houses, two-story apartment buildings were damaged, there are unexploded ammunition – sub-munitions from cluster shells. Now the police explosives experts, the State Emergency Service explosives experts are examining the territory in order to find unexploded ammunition, Pavlo Dyachenko said.
Some of the detected cassette elements are destroyed on the spot by controlled detonation, since it is impossible to safely remove and transport them.
— This rocket explodes in the air, after which the cluster submunitions scatter over the area and explode. Local residents report six powerful explosions and several dozen less loud ones, explained the head of the press service of the Donetsk region police.
In addition to residential buildings, commercial buildings in the estates of local residents and private motor vehicles, a local enterprise was damaged by the Russian shelling — its automobile machinery and equipment were damaged.
