The official presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected in January / Ice Universe renderAt the end of January 2025, Samsung should introduce the flagship Galaxy S25 series. The top device of the series will be the Galaxy S25 Ultra, about which almost everything is known about two months before the announcement.Fresh photos of the Galaxy S25 Ultra layout show noticeable changes in the appearance of the future Korean flagship. First, the photos confirmed the rounded corners, as in the younger Galaxy S models. Second, the location of the cameras on the back – it will remain the same, but the edging of the modules themselves will resemble the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
It’s hard to say anything about the screen frame, but earlier insiders claimed that “the display will be bigger, the body thinner, and the screen-to-body ratio will once again break Samsung’s record.” Also, earlier insiders reported that the new flagship will be smaller and lighter than the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The images also showed what the two colors of the Galaxy S25 Ultra will look like – titanium black and silver. Otherwise, the new model will be similar to its predecessor.

The official premiere of the Galaxy S25 line is expected on January 22, 2025, and they will go on sale in early February. The Galaxy S25 Ultra model, in addition to an updated design, will receive an ultra-wide with a new 50-MP sensor and 16 GB of RAM. The Galaxy S25 and S25+ will remain with the old cameras and batteries, but the amount of RAM will increase from 8 to 12 GB.
Samsung’s new flagship series is also interesting in that it should include the Galaxy S25 Slim model, which will allegedly compete with the iPhone 17 Air. However, it will most likely be announced later next year.
Previously, Tom’s Guide reviewers named the best smartphones from Samsung in 2024 for different budgets and requests. The Galaxy S24 FE, which was released at the end of September, was unexpectedly recognized as the best for most.
