The producer price index of industrial products was 0.8% in October, the same indicator slowed to 24.5% year-on-year.

It is noted that in October the producer price index of industrial products (indicator of the average level of changes in selling wholesale prices for raw materials, materials and intermediate consumption goods) was 0.8%, while in September it was equal to 2.2%.
The main factor behind the slowdown in industrial inflation last month was the prices for the supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, which decreased by 0.1% compared to September.
At the same time, energy prices increased by 39.0% year-on-year, which affects the annual index of industrial inflation, which was 24.5% in October.
The price index of manufacturers of industrial products, recorded in June – 14.0%, remains the highest in the current year, after the increase in the maximum prices for electricity for businesses.
