This is what the head coach sets up his wards Sergey Puchkov. The Ukrainian specialist, who appeared in Jalal-Abad about three months ago, told Sport.ua about the tournament situation and his team’s plans.
– For some time we had a chance to compete for silver medals, but not everything turned out as we would have liked – he said. – In the previous round, “Muras United” lost points in an away match with “Aldyer”, played a draw, 0:0, and our second place competitor “Dordoy” won. After that match, a feeling of desolation appeared, from which it was not possible to get away for some time.
– What finally helped to get rid of the ego?
– Having played two control matches on November 14 and 18, everything seems to have fallen into place, and there are no psychological problems. In these sparrings, game relationships and standards were worked out. Now we are preparing for the two final matches of the championship, in which we will try to score maximum points. However, even in case of victory in the nearest match, our team will finish ahead of schedule on the third line.
– Who is a competitor in the fight for bronze awards?
– “Alai” from Osh. This team is four points behind Muras United. By the way, we will meet her in the last round. In order to approach this game as early bronze medalists, we need to take three points in the next match – against “Talent” from Besh-Kyungoy.
Let us remind you that in the composition of “Muras United” there are seven students of Ukrainian football – Andriy Myshchenko, Kirill Protsyshyn, Alexander Golykov, Yevgeny Terzy, Yury Mate, Igor Gonchar and Oleg Marchuk. All of them have the opportunity to add a set of bronze awards to the title of the owner of the Kyrgyzstan Cup.
