“Many people ask about Olga Harlan’s future. We talked with her the day before yesterday, she wants to go to the first tournament in Orleans and take part in it. She says: well, that’s what I want. So let’s see.

I’ve always said: this is sport – both victories and defeats – it’s adrenaline, when you want to come back and prove to yourself that you can. And when you defeat yourself, then you have a chance to become a champion.”

Olga Kharlan, a Ukrainian saber fencer, twice became the Olympic champion in the team (2008 and 2024), received the team silver of the OI (2016) and three times – the bronze of the OI in the individual competition (2012, 2016, 2024). became the world champion, 8 times European champion, has two gold medals of the European Games (2015, 2023).
