“The Council voted in the first reading of the draft law on the definition of persons who cannot be adoptive parents (No. 10298). “For” – 245,” Goncharenko said.
As the People’s Deputy noted, the draft law expands the list of persons who cannot be adoptive parents or guardians:
- Persons convicted of crimes against the state, such as treason, collaborative activity, aiding the aggressor, justifying the aggression of the Russian Federation or glorifying its participants.
- Persons brought to administrative responsibility for domestic violence or gender-based violence.
