It is better “without additional injection” – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on the warning of the USA about a “significant air attack”

Ukrainian diplomats call on all citizens of Ukraine to “remain alert, do not ignore air warning signals and follow the shelter in case of danger – as always when there is a threat of Russian missile attack””, — write: www.radiosvoboda.org

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reacted to the notification of the temporary transition to remote work of the US Embassy and some other diplomatic missions of foreign countries in Kyiv.

“Unfortunately, threats of shelling from the aggressor state have been a daily reality for Ukrainians for over a thousand days. On this 1,001st day of a full-scale invasion, the threat of Russian shelling is as relevant as it has been in the previous thousand days. We believe that it would be correct for the partners to react on the 1001st day in the same way as on the previous thousand days, without any additional information injection,” said the comments of the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhiy Tykhoi, published on November 20.

Ukrainian diplomats call on all citizens of Ukraine to “remain alert, do not ignore air warning signals and follow the shelter in case of danger – as always when there is a threat of Russian missile fire.”

On the morning of November 20, the US Embassy in Ukraine reported that it had received “specific information” about a possible significant Russian air attack that day.

“As a precaution, the embassy will be closed… The embassy recommends that US citizens be prepared to take shelter immediately in the event of an airstrike alert,” said the message posted on the diplomatic mission’s website.

The embassy did not give any details about the possible strike.

Subsequently, the diplomatic missions of Spain, Italy and Greece also announced the closure for visitors on November 20.

The message from the embassy came after Russian President Vladimir Putin updated Russia’s nuclear doctrine on November 19, the 1,000th day of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
