“Consumption is increasing. Today, November 20, as of 5:00 a.m., its level was 1.6% higher than at the same time the previous day – on Tuesday, November 19. This is explained by the continued recovery of consumers previously cut off due to Russian shelling on Odesa. Emergency and restoration work in the region continues,” Ukrenergo said.
Yesterday, November 19, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 6% higher than the previous day. “This is due to the application of a smaller volume of restrictions at this time,” the company said.
“There is a significant power deficit in the power system. Therefore, in order to balance the power system, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. today, hourly shutdown schedules with the volume of one queue are in effect in most regions. Please consume electricity sparingly throughout the day. Do not turn on several powerful appliances at the same time electrical appliances”, Ukrenergo emphasized.
As indicated by the Ministry of Energy, economical use of electricity allows to reduce the load on the power system.
Last day, the power industry restored power to 194,763 consumers who were cut off as a result of hostilities.
