Big intrigue. The Czech Republic and Georgia determined the winner of the League of Nations group

The Czech Republic played a match against Georgia in Olomouc at the “Andruv” stadium. The hosts won with a score of 2:1.

The home team took the lead in the third minute – Pevel Schultz scored. Adam Glozek doubled the advantage of the Czechs on the 24th. After the break, thanks to a goal by Georges Mykautadze, the Georgians reduced the deficit to a minimum. The intrigue in the match lasted until the last minutes, but the Czechs managed to keep the winning result.

Thanks to this victory, the Czech Republic won Group 1 of Division B of the League of Nations, gaining 11 points. The Czech Republic automatically qualified for Division A. Second place was taken by Ukraine, Georgia took third place, and the playoffs await them for keeping their registration in Division B. Albania took the last place in the quartet and was relegated to Division C.
