According to the document, military servicemen who are captured or held hostage, as well as interned in neutral countries or missing in action, are to be paid cash support.
It is noted that the serviceman can himself determine the family members to whom payments will be made in case of disappearance or capture.

Also, financial support can be paid to siblings.
In the event of the death (death) of a serviceman or his court declaring him dead, the sums of money support due to the serviceman and not paid to him are included in the inheritance.
However, the provisions of the law will not apply to military personnel who voluntarily surrendered, voluntarily left military units (places of service) or deserted from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military formations and law enforcement agencies formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine.
We will remind
The Verkhovna Rada in the second reading and as a whole adopted the draft law, which provides for the release of military personnel from criminal liability for voluntary desertion and desertion, if it happened for the first time. However, in order to return to the service, it will be necessary to obtain written consent from the commander of the military unit.
