President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen met with Ukrainian manufacturers of long-range drones and soldiers who use them.
The leaders were told about the technical characteristics of these means of destruction, as well as about the peculiarities of their use.
In particular, during the inspection, Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Metta Frederiksen were shown long-range drones, the procurement of which is carried out according to the Danish model: the funds are provided for the already concluded contracts between the SE “Defense Procurement Agency” and the manufacturers.
“Denmark is a friend we can really rely on. Together we protect the lives of Ukrainians. Together we produce weapons for Ukraine. And together we are working on recovery after the destruction caused by this war,” the Head of State emphasized.
The President noted that all the countries of Northern Europe have already joined the model started by Ukraine and Denmark.
“More than a billion dollars have been invested by partners in our industries. Drones, missiles, artillery – the scale is impressive,” he added.
Mette Frederiksen noted that investments in the Ukrainian defense industry are absolutely necessary to resist brutal Russian aggression.
“It is important for me that our producers can visit Ukraine and learn from your experience. Learn how to scale your production. You are speeding up, increasing the scale – this is important for Ukraine. But today it is also important for all of us,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi also awarded state awards to the military and civilians who made a significant contribution to the development of the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine, the creation of high-tech products under martial law.
