In Ukraine, as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of Russia, as of the morning of November 19, according to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 592 children were killed, and at least 1,702 more were injured of various degrees of severity, the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.

The OGP drew attention to the fact that three children died and 19 were injured in the last two days.

“On November 17, as a result of shelling in Sumy, a 9-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl were killed, 11 children were injured. On November 17, a 17-year-old boy was injured as a result of shelling in Odesa. On November 17, a 14-year-old girl was injured as a result of shelling in Mykolaiv. On November 18, a 7-year-old boy was killed and a 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy were injured as a result of shelling in Glukhov, Sumy region. On November 18, as a result of shelling in Odesa, four children were injured: two girls aged 11 and two boys aged 7 and 10,” the message reads.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.

As of the end of October, the UN reported that it was able to confirm data on the death of 12,162 civilians in Ukraine and the wounding of 26,919 since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia. The organization emphasized that the real data could be much higher.
