To the journalist’s question about whether it could happen that this performer will represent our country one year, Horova says that it is unlikely.
The fact is that Nadia has already achieved considerable success in Ukrainian show business and on the stage, so she does not need promotion with the help of Eurovision. In Irina’s opinion, this method of promotion is more suitable for beginner singers who are only taking the first steps on the way to success.
With the help of the competition, they can make their name known to the whole world and become popular in their homeland. As for Dorofeeva, the producer noted that they have plans to export her music to the international market, but it will be done by a different method.
“I think we’ve outgrown this contest a little bit. Never say never, though. But I think we’ll move in some other ways, tools to conquer foreign audiences. But Eurovision is a very powerful tool for budding artists coming out to some level”, – believes Horova.
By the way, the acceptance of applications for the National Selection for “Eurovision-2025” ended a few days ago. This year, almost 400 artists decided to try their hand. Applications were received not only from Ukraine, but also from abroad. 9 singers or groups will go to the final selection, whose names will be announced in January next year. Eurovision itself will take place in May 2025 in Switzerland.
