Russian troops are attacking Zaporizhzhia, there are casualties, the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, said.

“The enemy continues to attack Zaporozhye. First, there are victims.
Stay in safe places,” he wrote in a telegram.

Before that, Fedorov warned about the threat of using attack drones and guided aerial bombs (UABs) in the Zaporizhzhia region. He also reported on explosions in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.

According to the latest UN data, 12,162 civilians were killed and 26,919 were injured as a result of Russian aggression from February 24, 2022 to the end of October 2024. The organization says that these data may be higher.
