Madrid “Real” is interested in the services of the 19-year-old Portuguese defender Darius Essugu.
The player belongs to “Sporting”, however, on loan, he plays for the Spanish “Las Palmas”. The management is impressed by the promising football player and believes that he has good prospects.
Essugu entered the history of “Sporting” – he became the youngest debutant in the history of the club (16 years old). Darius’ contract runs until the summer of 2027, the release amount is 60 million euros.
The footballer regularly plays for Portugal U-21 – on November 15, he was in the starting lineup of the team against the Ukrainian U-21 national team. Madrid “Real” believes that the Portuguese will be able to replace midfielder Luka Modric, who may leave the club in the summer of 2025.
