The BMW X6 driver who drove into a public transport stop in Khmelnytskyi, killing three women, received suspicion. According to expert reports, he was under the influence of alcohol and drugs. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, writes UNN.

The driver was informed of the suspicion of violation of road safety rules by a person driving a vehicle while intoxicated, which caused the death of several people (Part 4 of Article 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the accident occurred around 7:20 am on November 18, 2024.

The 27-year-old culprit of the accident was arrested on the spot in accordance with Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine. According to the results of the examinations, alcohol and narcotic substances were found in the driver’s body.

Currently, the issue of selecting a preventive measure for the suspect is being resolved.
