As a result of today’s Russian shelling in the north of Donetsk region, three people were killed and two others were wounded, the head of the regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, said.

“The Russians shelled Kostyantynivka with barrel artillery – 2 people were killed and 2 wounded there, 2 high-rise buildings and 2 cars were damaged. The Russians killed 1 more person today in Siversk – the city was also subjected to artillery shelling,” he wrote in a telegram.

Filashkin once again called on local residents to evacuate in a timely manner.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful.

According to the latest UN data, 12,162 civilians were killed and 26,919 were injured as a result of Russian aggression from February 24, 2022 to the end of October 2024. The organization says that these data may be higher.
