The Ministry of Defense wants to reform the system of mobilization in Ukraine, new approaches should be considered by the Cabinet of Ministers. It is planned to abandon the so-called “busification”.

This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umyerov, quoted by UNN.

As Umerov said, Russia plans to increase its personnel. The Ukrainian military is currently holding the front, and the Ministry of Defense is working on the question of humanity regarding mobilization: recruiting centers have started to work, and digitalization of the process has also begun, so that “people know that they have a choice.”

According to the minister, the department also plans to work with those Ukrainians who are currently outside the country, so that they also have the choice to join the army.

“Right now, the protection of our country is an important priority for us, so we plan to move away from these painful issues for the population. To solve this issue, we have proposals that we will discuss in the Cabinet of Ministers to propose such a reform,” he added.

Also, Defense Minister Rustem Umyerov announced a quick announcement of candidacy for the post of military ombudsman. He will deal with the protection of the rights of military personnel.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umyerov and the Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Bargylevych held a meeting with the military to discuss the urgent needs of the Ukrainian army and further steps to modernize it.
