President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi reacted to the Russian missile attack on a residential area of Odessa.
“A ballistic missile strike by Russian terrorists in Odessa, in a residential area. Arrival at the parking lot,” the head of state wrote in Telegram.
According to him, an apartment building, a university and an administrative building were damaged as a result of the attack.
Zelensky noted that eight people are currently known to have died, and almost two dozen people have been injured. All the necessary forces are involved to help all those in need.
“These aren’t random shots—they’re show shots. After calls and meetings with (by Russian dictator Volodymyr — ed.) Putin, after all the false gossip in the media about the alleged “abstention” from strikes. Russia shows what it is really interested in: only war. And this signal should be heard in all parts of the world, from the halls where the members of the Group of Twenty meet to all the capitals of the world,” noted the President of Ukraine.
On November 18, explosions rang out in Odesa. Before that, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces warned about the launch of a ballistic missile by the Russian Federation in the direction of Odessa.
Oleg Kiper, the head of Odesa OVA, said that 18 people were injured, including one child. Four victims are in serious condition.
