The Association of Private Arms Manufacturers Technological Forces of Ukraine (TSU) published the “Armorer’s Guide”.

TSU specialists created it based on the experience of companies working in the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine.

The executive director of the Technological Forces of Ukraine, Kateryna Mikhalko, told ArmiyaInform correspondent why there was a need to publish the “Armorer’s Guide”.

— As an association of private manufacturers, we have seen that enterprises at different stages of development are still faced with a lack of understanding of the sequence of state procedures. Because there are a lot of them (procedures — ed.), they do not always, let’s say, have an unambiguous interpretation for the industry, – notes the executive director.

According to her, TSU received many requests for clarification on mechanisms of state regulation in the processes of arms supply:

— And we decided to form it into a single book. Where all the regulations would be collected, their sequence is described step by step, and what should be done by the manufacturer at the moment when he has the idea to make a new model of weapons – until the moment of passing all the procedures of inspections of the Ministry of Defense. And then, actually, about signing a state contract and supplying these weapons to the army.

Kateryna Mikhalko says that the “Gunsmith’s Guide” was also published so that experienced manufacturers could give this book to their team members, and to make it easier for new employees to understand the field of weapons.

– Also, this book was created so that small manufacturers who are just starting their journey could take the “Gunsmith’s Guide” and understand what path awaits them in interaction with the state. To our partners and manufacturers who are part of the “Technological Forces of Ukraine” association, we made it publicly available for everyone. If there is any company outside our community, they can find it online on our website and read it. That is, this is such a gift from our manufacturers to the entire industry, – stressed the executive director of the Technological Forces of Ukraine Kateryna Mikhalko.
