Three people died in Khmelnytskyi as a result of the actions of a drunk driver who drove into a public transport stop.

Details: The accident happened at 7:20 a.m. on November 18 at the bus stop on the street. Zarichanska, 9.
The driver of the “BMW X6” car, moving along Zarichanska, collided with the “Skoda Octavia” and “Mazda” cars, after which he drove into a public transport stop.
As a result of the accident, three women (ages 60, 56 and 53) who were standing at the bus stop died from their injuries.
The driver was driving with clear signs of intoxication. The police arrested him at the scene.
Investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Art. 286-1 (Violation of traffic safety rules or transport operation by persons driving vehicles while intoxicated, which caused the death of several persons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides from 7 to 12 years of imprisonment.
