“A source familiar with the matter confirmed that these Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) were authorized for use only in the Kursk region, where North Korean troops were deployed,” Axios writes.

As Axios notes, the interlocutor said that “Biden’s decision was communicated to Ukraine about three days ago.”

He reportedly said that the motive behind the decision was to prevent North Korea from sending additional troops to Russia for the war against Ukraine.

A representative of the Pentagon, as noted, refused to comment on this issue.

Earlier, numerous mass media reported that US President Joe Biden approved Ukraine’s use of long-range missiles against Russian and North Korean forces in the Kursk region.

According to the publication, this is the first time that Biden has allowed Ukraine to use long-range missiles supplied by the United States to attack Russian territory.
