Vladyslav Vlasyuk, the authorized advisor of the President of Ukraine on sanctions policy, met with Damien Splitters, director of expeditionary operations of the British organization Conflict Armament Research. This organization plays a leading role in the study of supply chains of arms and ammunition to war zones.

Vladyslav Vlasyuk and Damien Splitters discussed the interaction of Ukraine and the CAR organization in the investigation of Russian, Iranian and North Korean remnants of weapons of mass destruction, which are at the disposal of Ukrainian agencies.

During the meeting, they also exchanged views on further cooperation in studying ways of supplying weapons components to Russia, Iran and North Korea to circumvent sanctions.

“We hope for continued fruitful cooperation between Ukraine and CAR to identify and prevent Russia from receiving key components for weapons and ammunition in violation of sanctions restrictions,” concluded Vladyslav Vlasyuk.
