Details: An Axios source claims that Ukraine has been allowed to use ATACMS so far only on the territory of Russia’s Kursk region, where the North Korean military began to participate in hostilities on the side of the Russian Federation.
Kyiv was allegedly notified of this decision three days ago.
The interlocutor of the publication explained that the decision aims to deter North Korea from sending additional forces to help Russia in the war against Ukraine.
The White House hopes that if the North Korean forces in Russia come under a serious blow, Pyongyang may reconsider the decision on further support of the Russian Federation with human forces.
