President Volodymyr Zelenskyi later announced that there were also casualties as a result of the strike.
“Rocket hit a nine-story building in Sumy. All the necessary services are already in place, a rescue operation is underway. For now, we know about the dead and wounded, including children,” he wrote in a telegram.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
