General Staff: there were 134 clashes at the front during the day, most of them in the Kurakhiv direction

Since the beginning of the day, the total number of combat clashes along the entire front line has increased to 134, the Ukrainian General Staff reported in the evening summary as of 22:00.

According to the message, most of the fighting took place in the Kurakhiv direction.

“The enemy is intensively attacking the Ukrainian defenders in the Kurakhiv direction, at this time of the day there are 35 combat clashes. The invaders remain highly active, trying to advance in the areas of Novaya Illinka, Berestkiv, Voznesenka, Sontsivka, Zori, Maksimilianivka, Dalny, Kurakhovo and Antonivka. Units of the Defense Forces repelled 20 enemy attacks. The situation is difficult, but controlled by the Defense Forces,” the General Staff reported.

In addition, according to the command, the Russian army does not stop trying to dislodge the Armed Forces from their positions in the Pokrovsky direction.

“The greatest activity of the Russian occupiers remains in the areas of Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Krutiy Yar, Yurivka, Hryhorivka and Petrivka settlements. In total, Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 23 attacks in the direction, five more clashes are still ongoing,” the summary states.

In addition, fighting continued in the Kharkiv, Kupyan, Lyman, Siver, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Vremiv, Orihiv and Dnieper directions.

The American Institute for the Study of War said in a November 12 report that Russian forces had recently advanced in two mechanized assaults within and south of Kurakhovo in western Donetsk Oblast.

Despite the statement from the network that the Russian army has already entered Kurakhov, the Ukrainian side does not officially confirm this. But military experts predict that the Armed Forces will have to withdraw from there in the coming days.
