According to the information of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of November 16, 2024 (from 8:30 p.m. on November 15), the enemy attacked Kharkiv Oblast with an anti-aircraft guided missile S-300, attacked 83 strike UAVs of the “Shahed” type and unmanned aerial vehicles of an unknown type from the districts of Kursk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation.
As of 08:30, the downing of 53 enemy UAVs in Cherkasy, Odesa, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Zaporizhzhya, Kharkiv and Khmelnytskyi regions was confirmed. As a result of active countermeasures by the Defense Forces, 30 enemy UAVs were lost in location in various regions of Ukraine
