The fight took place in the format of 8 rounds of 2 minutes each. In the ring, Mike Tyson and Jake Paul put on a bright show, not sparing each other.
Based on the results of 8 rounds, the judges determined the winner by points – Jake Paul became him: 80–72, 79–73, 79–73.
After the fight, Jake Paul explained why he decided not to end the fight early by knocking out Tyson.
“Mike Tyson is a boxing icon. It was an honor to fight him, it was a tough fight. I performed for my fans. Why didn’t I knock out Tyson? I didn’t want to hurt him, I didn’t have to,” Paul said.
