Details: According to the resolution, Zubera confessed to the illegal deprivation of liberty of a person, committed as a result of a prior conspiracy (Part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and torture (Part 2 of Article 127) and told about the circumstances of the attack on the soldier.
On November 7, the accused entered into a plea agreement with the prosecutor and undertook to testify against all those involved in the crime, including People’s Deputy Tyshchenko.
Zuberi was sentenced to five years in prison. However, thanks to the agreement, the court released the guard from serving the sentence and set a two-year probationary period: if the man does not commit a new criminal offense during this time, he will not be imprisoned.
In addition, he must periodically appear for registration with the supervisory body, report on a change of place of residence, work or study and not leave the borders of Ukraine without approval. The guard was released from the pre-trial detention center, charging the costs of forensic examinations in the amount of 6,058 hryvnias in favor of the state.
