In the opening round of the qualifying tournament in group 2, Ukrainian women defeated the national team of Moldova with a score of 5:0. In the match with Malta, the audience also saw a crushing victory, but twice as many goals were scored.
The representatives of Malta failed to impose a fight on their opponent. After the first half, the blue-yellow team won with a score of 6:0. Karina Lespuh and Darya Kolodiy scored doubles, Evelina Kuptsova and Milena Ivanchenko scored one goal each.
In the second half, four more goals flew into the opponent’s goal. First, Viktoria Savkina scored a double, then Sofia Konovalova scored, and Zoryana Gladun put the point in the match – 10:0.
Sergei Sapronov’s wards will play the next match of the first round of the team against the Romanian national team on November 19.
