The government of Estonia approved the proposal of Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur to provide Ukraine with a new package of military aid.

According to the information, this aid package will be formed from the reserves of the Estonian Defense Forces, “taking into account the needs of Ukraine, but in such a way as not to impair the defense capability of Estonia.”
The package will include a naval uniform, surveillance devices, sights, ballistic protection and various ammunition.
“This aid package will not be the last. Soon we will announce an annual program of support for Estonian companies on a competitive basis, which will allow Ukraine to receive assistance in the production of products of the Estonian defense industry. This will contribute not only to the support of Ukraine, but also to strengthen the economy and security of Estonia,” Pevkur added.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Estonia, Kristen Michal, said that the support of Ukraine in the coming months will shape the future of the European Union. He called for more to be done to protect Ukraine and the EU against the backdrop of Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election.
