President Volodymyr Zelenskyi explains that the rotation on the front line cannot take place until the reserve brigades are not equipped with weapons and equipment, so they have to retreat on the front line due to the Russian offensive and fatigue.

Zelensky’s direct speech: “Guys are at the front, they need rotation so they can rest, take vacations, etc.
Other brigades should take their place. Imagine that the other brigades are understaffed. Just throw it like meat like the Russians? Nobody wants, they stand.
The guys (from the front line – ed.) get tired, the guys leave. They are being shot at by KABs, bombed, they are tired. They ask whether it is possible to take steps back, the military leadership allows them.
Because this is our position – first of all, a person, and then – the earth.
People need to be sure that when they leave, another brigade will take their place, but armed and ready for this onslaught.
We had an agreement on the number of these brigades, but their filling is very, very slow.”
Details: Zelenskyi emphasized that in conditions of understaffing of brigades new brigades are not created. However, he added that the reserve units were created from the core of professional people who went through the war.
According to the head of state, the fact that “someone is making new brigades, and there are not enough strong brigades of people” are isolated moments.
The president predicts that with the manning of the reserve brigades, the advance of the Russians in the East will come to an end.
We will remind: Zelenskyi said that Ukraine did not receive even half of the weapons that were officially allocated by the United States, and that Europe helped our country no less than the United States.
