In an interview with Ukrainian Radio, Zelensky noted that for successful negotiations, Ukraine must be strong both on the battlefield and at the diplomatic level. He emphasized that negotiations with Russia under the current conditions, without strengthening the positions of Ukraine, are losing even before the start.
The President also emphasized that the mediator cannot remain neutral in matters of violation of international law. He expects the US to maintain its support for Ukraine and continue to recognize Russia as an aggressor.
Zelensky noted that one of the important elements of any negotiation process should be the Ukrainian victory plan. Only under such conditions can a just peace be achieved.
