The European Commission has raised expectations for gas prices in Europe by 9.7% this year, and by 14.4% in 2025.
This is stated in the autumn forecast of the European Commission, informs industry publication enkorr.
So, this year, the price of gas is forecast at the level of $380 per thousand. cubic meters, and the next – $445 per thousand. cubes
In the spring, it was expected that gas in Europe would cost 30.9 euros per megawatt-hour this year, and 34.8 euros in 2025.
At the same time, in 2026, some price reduction is predicted – to almost $390 per thousand. cubes
Forecasts are given for gas futures on the TTF index from the London ICE exchange.
