The government sets three goals for itself, making a decision on “Winter is Support”https://www.unian.ua/ photo press service of the NBUThe government approved the procedure for the implementation of the project on the payment of one thousand hryvnias to every Ukrainian from December 1.“We determine how, where and when funds can be received and where they can be spent. Since the program applies not only to adults, but also to children, we also determine how one of the parents will be able to order a payment for their child,” said the Prime Minister – Minister Denys Shmyhal.
He noted that, when deciding on “Winter is Support”, the government sets three main goals, and the first of them is financial support for Ukrainian families.
“Funds from “Winter is Support” can be spent on medicines, books, clothes, bus and train tickets, utility and other services, and many other things that are important and most necessary for our people,” Shmyhal said.
The Prime Minister called the second goal the support of Ukrainian service providers and Ukrainian manufacturers, because they are the ones who will receive funds, and this is an additional stimulus for the economy.
“The third goal is to once again demonstrate the unity of Ukrainian society, as one of the options for using the funds is to support the Ukrainian army by transferring funds to the charity accounts of the Security and Defense Forces or a volunteer fund that you trust,” the head of government emphasized.
A thousand Zelenskyi – the main newsOn October 25, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced that he had instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to introduce a new program, according to which every Ukrainian will receive 1,000 hryvnias.
From December 1, Ukrainians will be paid 1,000 hryvnias under the new program. Funds will be credited to the “National Cashback” card, which can be opened through “Diya”. It will be possible to spend these funds on paying for utilities, medicine, transport, mobile communication, buying Ukrainian books and other services.
